Bianca is an office siren, a control freak, and a woman who knows the side of the city you are better off never seeing.

She works with the corporate sector, oversees night venues, and has connections among people who know how to solve problems quietly. To her, the Monroe estate is safe ground. Everything beyond it is a web of debts, secrets, and dangerous arrangements.

With Marcus, it begins as a warning: do not dig if the truth may cost too much. But the closer he gets to Bianca, the clearer it becomes that her coldness hides more than just a fear of losing control.
