An apartment that knows too much.

Sometimes, a place can tell you more about a person than their friends and loved ones ever could.

Arthur Holmes’s luxurious apartment in the Monroe building is the first major location you begin exploring in the game. Everything here reminds you of its former owner. The rooms hold traces of meetings, conversations, and deals that happened behind closed doors.

Arthur lived alone, but his home was never empty. Clients, informants, and people willing to pay to solve their problems all passed through these walls. Many of them left stories behind that you now have to unravel.

Cabinet and evidence board.

The study remains the center of the apartment. This is where Arthur gathered information about his cases and clients. Floor-to-ceiling bookshelves hold old dossiers, notes, and investigation archives.

On the wall, there is the evidence board. Photos, dates, newspaper clippings, and notes are connected with red threads. As you progress, new photos and materials will appear on the board, gradually helping you piece together the chain of events.

Computer and New Possibilities

Arthur’s computer contains his correspondence, contacts, and data archives. Through it, you can receive messages, find side jobs, or learn about new meetings.

Some messages may lead to unexpected encounters or dangerous situations. You decide which offers to respond to.

Telescope and observation.

By the window stands an antique telescope pointed at the neighboring buildings. With it, you can watch what’s happening in the windows across the street and sometimes gain important information.

What will you see?

In one window, a slim brunette in lace lingerie slowly unlaces her corset. In another, a blonde is on her knees in front of a stranger. One floor higher, a couple you catch at the most interesting moment: she’s on top, he’s in handcuffs. And there’s a new photo added to your inventory.

A clue? Or just something to think about? Some secrets reveal themselves only to those who look closely.

The Monroe building is not a static location. The time of day affects what happens. At night, unexpected visits may occur, corridor cameras might temporarily shut off, and certain items may appear or disappear.

The apartment gradually reveals its secrets as you explore.
